Experience

During the time I was using the adapter, I’ve been using this on the ASUS ZenBook 14 (UX435E) and it has proven a useful companion for the laptop. Since the ZenBook 14 has x2 USB-C slots, I was able to use the adapter without issues or problems. I was able to test the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 slots during this time and the XD200C has performed as advertised.

Meanwhile, the LAN and HDMI ports have also worked properly with me being able to use the HDMI port as a second monitor.

Conclusion

The Rapoo XD200C USB-C Multi-Function Adapter is a great companion if you’re one of the few who purchased any of the sleeker, newer laptops. The more urban-chic aesthetic laptops exchanged aesthetic with function so it’s pretty obvious that USB slots are more than wanting.

Speaking of the urban-chic aesthetic, the XD200C fits the look with its metallic casing and minimalist design. So not only do you get function but form as well.

Priced at ₱3,450 the XD200C may seem hefty, the adapter is a pretty solid purchase most especially if you always find yourself with a lack of slots. In fact, considering all the features that the XD200C has this may be the only adapter you will ever need.

You can grab the adapter from Silicon Valley or know more about the adapter from the Rapoo fanpage.
