With the recent announcement from NVIDIA of their latest RTX 30 series, Palit showcased their GameRock and GamingPro series of Ampere GPUS. The new GeForce RTX 30 Series is the second generation of RTX cards that supports hardware ray-tracing with its RT and Tensor cores, giving users unparalleled visuals, higher frame rates, and AI acceleration to games and applications. It delivers an increase of up to 1.9x performance-per-watt over the RTX 20 series.
Palit GameRock Series
This is Palit’s flagship series and is built for the enthusiast who wants to keep their framerates high and temperatures low. It has an ARGB lighting component to let it sync to your system and is reskinned into the “Dazzling Angel” look. I need to get my hands on a review unit to really see what it looks like up close. But that’s one huge cooler with 3 fans, looking forward to how it handles the RTX 30 series.
The GameRock series is available across all models:
● GeForce RTX 3090 GameRock: 24GB GDDR6X
● GeForce RTX 3080 GameRock: 10GB GDDR6X
● GeForce RTX 3070 GameRock: 8GB GDDR6
Palit GamingPro
If you’re building a more minimalist system, but still need the power of the RTX 30 series, then you might want to look at the GamingPro line which looks more like a normal GPU. It’s also equipped with ARGB in a black and silver shroud to suit your machine’s theme.
The GamingPro series is available across all models:
● GeForce RTX 3090 GamingPro: 24GB GDDR6X
● GeForce RTX 3080 GamingPro: 10GB GDDR6X
● GeForce RTX 3070 GamingPro: 8GB GDDR6
