Unhampered by the current global pandemic situation, the Hearthstone Masters Tour Los Angeles pushes through with it’s online-only tournament structure which will start at March 20-22 Pacic.
Over 300 invited players from over 40 countries will participate online and will compete for the Masters Tour trophy, the title of Grandmaster, and their lion’s share of the 3,000,000 usd total prize pool.
The format is a 4 deck, best-of-5 conquest with a ban. Players that manage at least a 7-2 result in Los angeles will be qualified for Masters Tour Jönköping and the yet-to-be-announced Masters Tour #4.
Here’s the tournament format:
- Day 1: Five rounds of Swiss.
- Day 2: Players with three or more match wins will play through four more rounds of Swiss.
- Day 3: The Top 8 players will advance to a single elimination bracket and the winner will be decided!

Originally, the tournament was supposed to be broadcasted online, however due to the California ‘stay at home’ order, the boardcast portion is currently cancelled. The organizers will find a way for the games to be streamed with this setup and will get updates as they come.
