Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend ), introduces the StoreJet 25C3S as the latest addition to its StoreJet Luxury series. Featuring a luxury aluminum alloy housing with a USB 3.1 Gen1 interface.
Transcend’s StoreJet 25C3S external hard drive is just 9.95mm thick. Housed in an aluminum alloy, the drive weighs in at just 133g. The sleek aluminum casing has been polished, sandblasted, and anodized. It has CNC-finished edges with the Transcend logo embossed on the upper left hand side of the case.
The StoreJet 25C3S is equipped with the USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface with the support of UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol), providing lightning-fast transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. In addition, the StoreJet 25C3S comes with both a USB Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to Type-A cable to accommodate desktops and laptops featuring the USB Type-C or USB 3.1 interface. The StoreJet 25C3S is also comes pre-formatted with the NTFS file system allowing use right out of the box. It provides up to 2TB of storage capacity.
Transcend also offers its exclusive data management and data recovery software – Transcend Elite and RecoveRx.
Transcend Elite is data management software that keeps important files organized, protected, and up-to-date. It also does protect files with a powerful 256-bit AES encryption. Meanwhile, RecoveRx is a free data recovery utility that allows you to search deep within a storage device for traces of erased files including digital photos, documents, music, and videos.
