MSI officially brought their Prestige Series laptops to the Philippines last March 22, 2019, at PlayNation,U.P. Town Center. With the mission to provide the right tools for professionals, yuppies, editors, and content creators, MSI unveiled the PS42, PS63, and P65 laptops.
The PS42 has two variants to choose from. One with Intel Core I5-8250U partnered with Intel HD 620 and while the other option comes with an Intel Core i7-8550U, and 2GB of NVIDIA GeForce MX 150. Both come packed inside an aluminum silver chassis weighing only 1.19kg and as thin as 15.9mm making it one of the thinnest creator laptops today.
The PS63 also has Intel Core i5 and i7 variants as well. The Intel Core i5 packs an Intel HD620 inside while the Intel Core i7 was said to have a “GTX Successor” graphics card. The specific name was not mentioned during the launch, but it seems to be a new and more powerful graphics card among its class. This laptop comes with a sand-blasted dark grey color with bluish diamond-cutting for a more elegant and fresh design.
And last is the P65, the highest end among the P-Series laptops. MSI raised the standards of a usual non-gaming laptop by using the next generation Intel Core i7 Processor partnered with a GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q GDDR6 8GB, adding up a 4K UHD panel and 1TB NVMe SSD, making editing, rendering, and designing tasks a breeze
