Gigabyte recently announced a new lineup of power supplies with support for the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series cards. These PSUs are compact because of its highly improved circuit made from high-quality materials that shrunk it down from 16/18 cm to just 14cm.
The latest Ampere cards can exceed more than 300W under heavy load, the P850GM/P750 comes with an 80 PLUS Gold certification to ensure it can deliver the power to the cards in under circumstances. They’re also both fully modular, for a more cleaner look inside your case.
The P850GM and P750GM provide 850 and 750 watts respectively. Both units has 4 6+2 pin PCIe connectors and also provide 2 4+4 pin CPU connectors for the heavy overclockers. Both of these models introduce the fan stop function which will stop the fan from spinning during standby mode or when power consumption is less than 20%, giving you a quiter workspace and a longer lifespan of the device.
These lineup of power supplies are 80 PLUS Bronze certified, giving users a maximum conversion efficiency of about 85%. The 120mm fan can operate silently while cooling the unit efficiently. This lineup is catered more to the budget-conscious consumer.
