ASUS Gives You Meta Buffs!

ASUS Republic of Gamers announced an all-new lineup of gaming gear at its Meta Buffs launch event held online. In line with the theme, the products showcased are aimed to give you IRL buffs and give you a status enhancement to power up your gaming experience. Here are a list of the products to anticipate in your favorite retailer or e-tailer of ASUS ROG products.

ROG Strix GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards

Following the recent announcement of NVIDIA’s RTX 30 Series, ASUS also announced its newest lineup of GPUs with the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 30 Series graphics cards. This is the second generation of RTX-enabled cards with chart-topping performance thanks to its latest Ampere architecture. This new lineup of cards delivers increases of up to 1.9x performance-per-watt over the previous Turing cards. NVIDIA touts the RTX 3090, 3080 and 3070 as the greatest GPU generational leap in the history of its graphics cards.

ROG Swift PG329Q, ROG Swift PG259QN and ROG Swift PG259QNR Monitors

The PG259QN and PG259QNR take the title of the world’s fastest gaming monitor with refresh rates of up to 360Hz. Both of these monitors feature a 24.5-inch FHD (1920×1080) IPS panel. It’s also HDR10 compatible, giving you the widest range of colors, making content pop whether it’d be from an HDR movie or an HDR-enabled game. NVIDIA G-sync provides a tear-free solution with any game.

The PG259QNR differs with the letter R representing its latest Reflex Latency Analyzer. The Reflext Latency Analyzer detects clicks coming from the mouse and measures the time it takes for the pixel in the screen to take action. It gives gamers the peace of mind that their machine is performing exactly as it should. The PG259QNR also comes with an ROG Desk Mount Kit that gives you the desk space invaded by a monitor’s feet. You can transform the monitor from a stand to a C-clamp in 3 simple steps.

The PG329Q is a 32-inch  QHD (2560 x 1440) monitor capable of up to 175Hz of refresh rate. It features a fast IPS panel and is the first NVIDIA G-sync compatible gaming monitor with variable overdrive. It comes pre-calibrated out of the box with DisplayHDR 600 certification, DCI-P3 98% and sRGB 160%, giving you the best color fidelity possible. It’s also equipped with ASUS‘s Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB) technology to eliminate motion blur without sacrificing speed.

ROG Strix XF 120 Cooling Fan

If you need extra cooling power in your battlestation, the ROG Strix XF 120 is a versatile 120mm 4-pin PWM fan that delivers 62.5 CFM of airflow and 3.07mm of H2O static pressure. It’s the perfect fan for use in applications where static pressure is needed like in a CPU cooler or a radiator, or anywhere where there’s resistance of air blocking your flow.

The ROG Strix XF 120 uses magnetic levitation giving it a longer lifespan and quieter operations. It’s rated to last for around 400,000 hours, while the anti-vibrating designing further helps eliminate noise. It can operate between 250 to 1,800 RPM for ultra-efficient and low noise operations.

ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 Gaming Router

Leveraging WiFi 6 technology, ASUS delivers the wider bandwidth and increased 160 MHz channels of WiFi 6E. The ROG Rapture GT-AXE11000 is the world’s first router to support WiFi 6E. It can support speeds of up to 11,000 Mbps with its tri-band design and 802.11ax WiFi 6E connectivity and features WAN aggregation for WAn speeds of up to 2 Gbps. It can achieve lightning speeds of up to 1 gigabit per second thanks to its 4×4 WiFi 6 and 2.5G LAN port. At its core is a quad-core 1.8 GHz 64-bit CPU with 1GB of RAM, allowing you to connect as much devices as you can without experiencing degradation in network performance.

ROG Strix Scope RX Keyboard

This is an exciting keyboard to watch out for. The ROG Strix Scope RX features the proprietary ROG RX Red optical switches from ASUS that features a hollow-square stem design with embedded RGB LEDs for per-key lighting capabilities. The design of the switch delivers a near-zero debounce delay to ensure instantaneous keypress. The hollow-square stem and X-stabilizer provides stability all the while the optical mechanism gives it a 100-million-keypress lifespan.

The ROG Strix Scope RX features an alloy top cover with IP56 water and dust resistance for a longer lifespan at anybody’s desk. FPS gamers will surely like the extended CTRL key, keyboard enthusiasts, not so much as you’d need to get a custom-sized keycap if you want to customize your keyboard. It also features a USB 2.0 passthrough for device charging and other peripherals. It has a dedicated Stealth key for uhh… you know, instantly hiding all apps and mute audio for instant privacy, very useful for streaming. The quick toggle switch then quickly changes between functions and media input. The keyboard also has the ROG logo with customizable effects via the Armoury Crate software, which also can be used to customize your layout, macros, and even hardware stats.

ROG Keris Wireless Mouse

Light and wireless, the ROG Keris is the ultimate companion to any PC gamer serious in his pursuit. This light gaming mouse weighs in at just 79 grams and provides grip comfort during long periods of gaming sessions. ASUS worked with a professional esports team to develop the ROG Keris, hoping to bring the ultimate gaming mouse in the pro stage.

The ROG Keris features a tri-mode connectivity. You can either use an ultrafast 2.4GHz wireless dongle, energy-efficient Bluetooth LE, or if you’re picky about input lag, you can always use it wired. The sensor can go up to 16,000 of DPI sensitivity with 400 ips and 40g acceleration for precision and agility. It also uses the ROG-exclusive push-fit switch-sokcet design with the new ROG Micro Switch that is rated with up to 70-million-click durability and a gold plated electrojunction for longer life. The L/R buttons are made of PBT for ultimate comfort and durability. The 100% TPFE mouse feet provide a smooth glide across any mousepad, the ROG Scabbard II most especially.

ROG Delta S Headset

Hearing every little thing that’s happening in your game is your ultimate advantage when you’re using the ROG Delta S headset. It features a hifi-grade ESS 9281 CODEC with QUAD DAC technology and is the first gaming headset with Master Quality Authenticated technology, which is an award-winning technology that delivers studio-quality audio, close to a recording’s source. The embedded MRQ renderer in the ROG Delta S can connect to an MQA core signal and decode the “final piece” of an MQA file for incredible audio quality.
