Pre-Orders are Now Out for Hearthstone’s Latest Year, The Year of the Phoenix

Hearthstone has announced that the game’s newest year is the Year of the Phoenix.

Coming this April 8, the Year of the Phoenix will add it’s newest class, the Demon Hunter. All players will get the Demon Hunter class and the corresponding Illidan Stormrage hero free as well as the 30 of the class’ specially tailored cards along with a pre-built decklist.

Along the year’s debut comes Ashes of Outland, the first expansion of the year. This also follows the setting of World of Warcraft’s The Burning Crusade expansion.

We’re excited to kick off the Year of the Phoenix by introducing Hearthstone’s first all-new class together with the epic Ashes of Outland expansion, the Demon Hunter is iconic to Warcraft, and the class is a natural fit for Hearthstone. When you look at everything coming to the game in April, and everything we have planned for 2020—this is going to be the best year yet for Hearthstone players.

Said J. Allen Brack, president of Blizzard Entertainment.
