Gamecon Philippines is happening this coming April 6-7, 2019 in SMX Convention Center Pasay City.
On it’s third year, Gamecon 2019 has moved it’s events area from the SM Megatrade Hall to the bigger, more spacious SMX Convention Center in Pasay City. Similar to previous events, the 2-day event will also host PC, Mobile and Tabletop games for attendees to enjoy. There will also be on-site tournaments for games Mobile: Legends Bang Bang, CS:GO and League of Legends (sponsored by Lenovo). There’s also going to be tabletop tournaments for Magic, Heroclix, Warhammer, L5R and Final Fantasy TCG.
Gamecon will also host Unity Game Development and Character Design Workshops for College students, professioanls and career-shifters. The workshops will be lead by Deo Carlo Rodil, the founder of Re:Cast Games and Abet Ongkingco Jr. a faculty member at De La Salle University-College of St. Benilde, and co-founder of Re:Cast Games. Gamecon 2019 is co-presented by Lenovo Legion, Intel, and in partnership with AOC, PLDT and Smart. The event is also supported by Razer Gold, Worlds of Fun, Nature’s Spring, American Technologies, and Quantum.
