Tournament Format: Prepare for Glory!
The Sting Olstar Showdown unfolds in stages. The offline elimination stage kicks off on June 15th and runs until July 7th, 2024. Victorious teams will then battle it out in the online group stage on July 13th and 14th. The top four teams from this stage will advance to the grand finals held at the prestigious Philippine Game Dev Expo (PGDX) happening on July 26th and 27th, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center.
A Nostalgic Return to the Internet Cafe Days
The Sting Olstar Showdown isn’t just about competition; it’s about a trip down memory lane. Remember the epic clashes that took place in internet cafes? The tournament embraces that nostalgia, hosting matches in select TNC Cyber Cafes. This not only reignites a cherished experience for older gamers but also inspires a new generation to create their own esports legends.

Think you have what it takes to be a champion? Aspiring Olstar Showdown competitors can register their teams during the Sting “Olstar sa Hataw” Roadshow. This esports tour takes place across select TNC Cyber Cafes from June 4th to 9th, 2024. Not only can you register, but you can also test your skills against other teams and get fueled up with refreshing Sting Energy Drinks!
