Explore Lemuria with Hair-Based Powers and Lemur Musicians
Set in the vibrant world of Lemuria, Kalanoro draws heavy inspiration from Malagasy folklore and art. Players take on the role of Kalakely, utilizing hair-based powers and improvised weapons to defeat enemies across the island.
As players progress through the story, they must rescue lemur musicians to assemble a musical troupe. Traveling on a tour bus, players interact with quirky characters, grow their band, perform on larger stages, and fight to free Lemuria from the evil witch Raneny.
Partnering to Showcase Malagasy Culture Worldwide
Headquartered in Madagascar, Red Raketa Studio created Kalanoro to bring inventive stories and Malagasy perspectives to global audiences. Publisher New Tales partnered with the studio to bring their creative vision to international markets, while SEGA expands the game’s reach across Asian territories.
