When you hear Seth Rogen you think comedies, a lot of the time they are Superbad, Pineapple Express, The 40-year old virgin, or even Sausage Party. News has already spread that he is producing the next reboot of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and that it’s going to be fully animated like the last 2007.
He has also said he wants to take the movie in a different direction, and focus on a different aspect of them, more specifically the Teenage side of them. Which is great, because the last 2 movies didn’t really show that, and focused more on stunts, fights, and explosions as most of us have grown accustomed to in a Michael Bay film. My only problem is the fact that I don’t know which part of Teenage life it’ll focus on, and Seth Rogen‘s brand of comedy for me is pretty juvenile.
But then again, to act and produce a movie are two different things. But I do really really like that his focus will be on their teenage side instead of the martial arts aspect.
