MSI launches their lineup of motherboards for the current generation of AMD Ryzen CPUs with support for next-generation CPUs. The A520 chipset is the successor of the A320 chipset, which lacks PCIe 4.0 support. The A520 improves on the previous chipset by upgrading all PCIe 2.0 lanes to PCIe 3.0 and will support the upcoming 4000 G-series processors from AMD.
This new lineup of motherboards gives users the flexibility to choose which feature set they need. MSI offers the MAG Series and the PRO Series with specific use cases in mind. MSI‘s A520 boards feature the exclusive DDR4 Boost and A-XMP to provide a stable platform that can push DDR4’s performance up to 4600MHz. MSI also improved the A520 with a premium 2oz thickened copper PCB to deliver better performance and stability.

With business owners and professional users in mind, the A520 PRO Series gives users a smarter working environment. All A520 PRO motherboards support Turbo M.2 Gen3 x4 and 4K HDMI display. All A520 PRO series comes in the mATX platform and has specific features for specific needs. The PRO Series consists of the A520M PRO, A520M-A PRO, and the A520M PRO-C Dash.
