Garena and KADOKAWA CORPORATION have officially revealed the first teaser for the Garena Free Fire anime adaptation.
Based on the hit mobile battle royale game, the anime puts the spotlight on fan-favorite character Kelly, setting her up as the main protagonist in a high-stakes, action-packed storyline.
In both the teaser visual and trailer, Kelly sprints into danger, showcasing her signature speed and determination. But this isn’t just another battle royale — the anime introduces a hidden conspiracy lurking beneath a seemingly peaceful world. As Kelly and her allies dig deeper, they uncover threats that could shake their entire reality.
The series brings in top-tier talent from the anime industry. Ken Takahashi, known for Ragna Crimson and Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya, directs the series. Animation studio CANDY BOX — behind hits like Blue Archive The Animation and Azur Lane Bisoku: Zenshin! — handles the visuals.
The soundtrack features music by Sus4 Inc., the team responsible for tracks in Ragna Crimson and Jackie Chan’s “Peace of the World.” The trailer even re imagines a familiar Free Fire theme song, blending nostalgia with cinematic flair.
Produced by a Japanese anime studio and managed by KADOKAWA QINGYU, the anime will see a worldwide release via streaming and broadcast platforms.
