BenQ officially expanded its digital visual hardware lineup with the reveal of the MA Series, a dedicated family of displays engineered to integrate natively with the Apple ecosystem. The initial rollout debuts two distinct consumer tiers: the MA270S and the MA320UG.
The hardware launch specifically targets professional creators and Mac power users who require color matching and operational harmony beyond standard external displays. The product family uses specialized Mac-tuned color accuracy profiles and smooth motion hardware to match the design language and display expectations of MacBook Pro and MacBook Air users.
Advanced Visual Metrics for Creative Professionals
The BenQ MA Series Monitors divide performance targets based on creative sub-industries. The MA270S delivers high-end precision using a stunning 5K resolution measuring 5120×2880 at 218 pixels per inch. The display provides pixel-perfect clarity for graphic designers and photographers through its 99% P3 color space coverage and a sharp 2000:1 contrast ratio. The color engineering minimizes traditional display mismatch errors by enforcing uniform color output across creative projects.
Conversely, the MA320UG framework pivots toward multimedia animators and video editors by pairing a 4K resolution screen with a high-speed 120Hz refresh rate. The panel maintains a 2000:1 contrast ratio alongside 98% P3 color coverage to yield liquid-smooth movement during fast-paced video editing workflows.
Both the MA270S and MA320UG models integrate Thunderbolt 4 architecture for rapid device charging and high-speed daisy-chaining operations. The physical display units feature adjustable ergonomics and Nano Gloss Panels for supreme clarity, while software elements include a Smart KVM switch to govern multiple Mac systems using a single keyboard and mouse setup.
Expanding the Retail Ecosystem
We designed the new MA Series with Mac users in mind — something that doesn’t just connect, but enhances,
Stated Peter Huang, President of BenQ Corporation. Huang explained that the hardware choices bring true Mac colors to life while supporting native software adjustments for intuitive workflows.
The new additions build upon the existing retail presence of the standard MA270UP and MA320UP models. These pre-existing options feature 4K IPS glossy displays, a 60Hz refresh rate, 95% DCI-P3 color reproduction, and up to 90W of USB-C power delivery. The entire product lineup operates via the proprietary Display Pilot 2 software package, which syncs colors automatically and allows users to modify monitor brightness and system volume directly from a native MacBook keyboard.
Consumers can purchase the baseline MA270UP and MA320UP variants immediately through physical retail stores or online via Shopee and Lazada. The advanced MA270S and MA320UG tiers will arrive at local retail partners across the Philippines later this month. Detailed specifications are viewable on the official product portal.
