Taiko no Tatsujin Nintendo Switch Version is Happening

Rhyhm ame, Taiko no Tatsujin is coming to the Nintendo Switch and will include English interface and release across Southeast Asia markets on August 9, 2018.

One of the newest features that will include the Shake and Play function with the Joy-Con and is also compatible with the TV mode and tablet mode. The Joy-Con feautre though will not be available on handheld mode.

Taiko no Tatsujin Nintendo Switch Version! will include new game music such as:

  • Jump Up, Super Star! Short Version from Super Mario Odyssey
  • Kirby Medley from Kirby’s Return to Dream Land
  • Yo-kai Exercise No. 1 from Yo-Kai Watch
  • We Are! from One Piece

A new element to Taiko no Tatsujin Nintendo Switch Version!  is the appearance of performance character. Before each performance starts, player can choose a performance character to play with in the game. Each performance guest has a performance skill that will enable player to receive a higher score. Players can choose the Squid from Splatoon 2 in which the character will support you in-game or Kirby from Kirby ‘s Return to Dream Land to assist in getting a better timing when playing or hitting Balloon Notes.

Playing with Friends

The game will have offline local play for up to 4-players. There are other party games included in party mode, players can work together to get high score or play against each other. Each connected player will need to have own Taiko no Tatsujin Nintendo Switch Version! game software in their machine. 

English Language Patch

Taiko no Tatsujin Nintendo Switch Version! will be coming in Japanese voice-over and Japanese / Chinese / Korean text. English language will be made available via a free patch on 9th August 2018 for Southeast Asia.
