In the list of games that we never expected to get this 2019, Activision‘s Call of Duty going to the mobile platform was never one of those we expected to get.

Announced during Garena World that happened this weekend. Call of Duty Mobile is headed to the mobile platform and will be published in the region by Garena. The game, developed by Activision and Tencent Games will be made available in Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, The Philippines, and Taiwan.

The brief and teaser (as seen above) only shows that the game will have the Team Deathmatch feature once it’s released. Other game modes may also arrive that have been staple to the CoD multiplayer experience is also part of the features CoD Mobile will be having. There’s also a shortlist of revealed maps for the game which includes, Nuketown and Hijacked.

CoD Mobile will also feature customizable loadouts which is also another staple in the CoD multiplayer experience. Scorestreaks is also included in CoD Mobile announced features along with iconic characters such as Ghost, Soap, Captain Price, and Alex Mason which seems to be in-game avatars for players to choose and use in-game.

Most players enjoy this great Call of Duty experience on consoles. But that is about to change. The mobile version will bring that experience to many more game-lovers. We truly cannot ask for a greater partnership to bring this cutting edge mobile gaming experience to all of you.

Eddie Chan, Tencent Games’ Vice President of International Partnerships, said.

There isn’t any release date yet for the game, but the game is already in pre-registration which you can head here to pre-register. The game will be released for the Android and iOS platforms.
