Honor of Kings September Update Launches Season 16: Flow As One with New Heroes and Honor Royale Mode

Level Infinite and TiMi Studio Group have officially released the September version update for Honor of Kings, kicking off Season 16: Flow As One. The massive update unites all five Flowborn Classes for the first time, introduces two new Heroes, launches a fast-paced Honor Royale mode, and adds new competitive features as the game heads into the 2026 Asian Games esports tournament.

New Heroes and Flowborn Class Expansion

Starting today, September 23, players can claim the Flowborn (Assassin) and Flowborn (Roamer) classes for free.

Following their debut, the new Mid-lane Hero Wang Wei will be available starting October 8 for 13,888 Gold or 588 Vouchers. Players can take advantage of a 50% Voucher discount during Wang Wei’s first week on the roster.

Fast-Paced 2v2v2v2 Battle Royale: Honor Royale Beta

The update introduces Honor Royale Beta, a survival game mode that drops four two-player teams into an arena for high-stakes, three-minute matches:

  • Drop in & Survive: Teams spawn in four map corners and fight to be the last duo standing while avoiding a shrinking Safe Zone.
  • Power-Up Runes: Defeating monsters and opening chests yields Runes that immediately boost stats, restore health, and restore energy.
  • Defeat Caesar: At the 90-second mark, boss monster Caesar spawns at the map center. Defeating Caesar grants a shield and adds a lightning effect to basic attacks.
  • Team Respawns: Downed players drop two Runes and can respawn next to surviving teammates after 10 seconds. A team is eliminated only when both players are defeated simultaneously.

New “Flow State” Summoner Skill & Ranking Systems

Flow State Summoner Skill

Available starting September 23, Flow State operates on a 100-second cooldown. Upon activation, it halves all skill cooldowns and summons a role-specific Flowborn weapon:

  • Assassin (Flow Claws): Dashes toward a target to deal true damage equal to 16% of missing HP plus physical damage to enemies in the path.
  • Marksman (Flow Crossbow): Fires three physical damage strikes, with the initial hit knocking the target back.
  • Mage (Flow Artifact): Deals sustained magic damage and slows targets by 30% for 2 seconds.
  • Tank/Warrior (Flow Shield): Deals physical damage and knocks up nearby enemies for 0.5 seconds.
  • Support (Flow Guqin): Heals an allied hero, damages an enemy within range, and returns to heal the caster for the same amount.

Path to Honor & Weekly Hero Challenge

Ranked players unlock two structural additions:

  • Path to Honor: Grandmaster tier players (10–50 stars) earn a new prestige reward for every 10 stars achieved.
  • Weekly Hero Challenge: Completing three weekly hero missions in ranked play awards bonus tier points alongside standard rewards.

Honor of Kings Returns to the 2026 Asian Games

Honor of Kings returns as an official medal event at the 2026 Asian Games from September 27 to 28. National teams from 10 countries will compete using a dedicated Asian Games build featuring an 85-hero pool.

In-Game Asian Games Celebrations
