A core theme of the report is how Lenovo is accelerating environmental progress by actively participating in the circular economy. This includes the continued integration of closed-loop recycled materials into its products.
Furthermore, Lenovo is empowering customers with sustainability services designed to facilitate repair, recycling, and reuse. These initiatives help extend product lifecycles and ensure valuable materials remain in circulation for longer.
Scaling Social Impact Around the World
Lenovo’s commitment to social impact continues to expand on a global scale. The company’s focus on diversity and inclusion earned it significant recognition as a Best Workplace for People with Disabilities by Disability:IN in the United States, an honor that was extended to the United Kingdom and Brazil this year.
In addition, the company’s dedication to community engagement was on full display during its annual Love on Month of Service. The event saw a record-breaking 44% increase in people reached through the volunteer efforts of Lenovo employees worldwide.
Leading in Governance and Responsible AI
In the realm of governance, Lenovo is reinforcing its “Smarter AI for All” vision with a strengthened internal policy framework. In 2024, the company introduced a comprehensive AI governance policy, aligning with commitments made to global bodies like UNESCO and the European Commission.
This strategic move was further solidified by the appointment of Doug Fisher, who added Chief AI Officer to his existing Chief Security Officer role, embedding responsible innovation at the core of the business.
