Yes, you read that right! One of my very own favorite DC series is getting it’s third wind as it’s been announced by Warner Brothers Animation that the the third season is now under production, as CBR reports.
In a blog post also from DC Comics mentions that the Season three would…
“Season three promises new twists, turns and dangerous new threats for the team, but most importantly, the opportunity for fans to finally continue the adventures of some of their favorite Super Heroes.”
So far we have no word yet on the release date and which network partner will they go through with season three. But I personally hope that they go with Netflix. Since this all started with the news I reported earlier this year about Netflix streaming seasons 1 and 2 of Young Justice and the possibility of having a third season happening.
The only other confirmed recurring thing happening with YJ is that producers Brandon Vietti (Batman: Under the Red Hood, Superman: Doomsday) and Greg Weisman (Star Wars Rebels, Gargoyles) will be returning to the series.
