In my previous post about toy gifting (which you should read, it’s almost gift-giving season!), I mentioned a quaint toy website named Kids Company. You may wonder, what are they about? This is what I shall be tackling below.
Simply put, Kids Company is an online marketplace for everything about kids, such as toys, apparel, and even baby products. They are part of Richprime Global, a 30-year old company that brings kids brands such as Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, and HIT Entertainment, to name a few, to the reach of Filipino children.
Aside from a wide range of toys and child care products, Kids Company boasts of convenience in terms of ordering, payment, and shipping. They have a number of payment methods (e.g. bank deposit to BDO and BPI, Paypal, and credit cards) as well as their own delivery service for orders within Metro Manila. This makes gift-giving for us busy adults easier. We can even choose to deliver these gifts straight to our youngster recipients so we don’t have to carry bulky items to parties. Convenient, right?
As for browsing the website, it is a breeze as they have a very specific filter for searches, so that you find what exactly you need right away. With all the categories at first glance, it is has pretty straightforward search engine.
Lastly, for the more frugal shoppers, Kids Company holds a lot of sales, particularly clearance sales, markdowns, and dented-box sales, wherein products with dented packaging but otherwise intact items are put into sale with decreased prices.
