Bushiroad Discontinues English Edition of Card Game Luck & Logic

Bushiroad announced today that it will discontinue the printing of the English edition of it’s card game, Luck & Logic. In a press release found here. The announcement mentions that the final English edition expansion will be releasing, BT05 “Trance Re:union” , set to be released on the 31st of March.

Players were told that they can still participate in monthly shop tournaments with PR card prices until the end of December this year. Luck & Logic is still part of the Bushiroad Championship 2017 series at eight locations worldwide. The champion of each Regional Championship will receive a fully sponsored invitation to compete in the 2018 World Finals in Japan.

Other changes into the game also include that English edition cards for the card game can be used in the Japanese edition tournaments held outside of Japan. This will apply to all players worldwide and start from February 1, 2017. For the English edition cards still only allowed for the game’s English tournament format.

Meanwhile, the Luck & Logic anime also is still confirmed for the second season. More details to follow.

Singapore (January 23, 2017) – Bushiroad announced that production for the English edition Trading Card Game, “Luck & Logic”, will cease after its final product, BT05 “Trance Re:union” is released on March 31, 2017.

After the discontinuation, “Luck & Logic” players will still be able to continue participating in monthly shop tournaments with PR card prizes until the end of December 2017. In addition, as part of the Bushiroad Championship Series 2017 lineup, “Luck & Logic” Regional Championships will be held at eight locations worldwide. The champion of each Regional Championship will receive a fully sponsored invitation to compete in the 2018 World Finals in Japan.

Some changes will also take place in the Japanese edition “Luck & Logic” scene, with a new rule denoting that English edition cards for the trading card game can be used in Japanese edition tournaments held outside of Japan. This will apply to all players worldwide and commence from February 1, 2017. Only English edition cards are allowed at English edition tournaments.

For fans of the accompanying animation series of the same name, “Luck & Logic” has been confirmed for a second season and details about its broadcasting schedule will be available at a later date.
