Pinoy 2D Fighters posted on their fanpage that there’s an upcoming King of Fighters XIV tournament this coming September 24.
Here’s the rundown of the various details:
When: September 24th Saturday, registrarion starts 1pm, tournament starts 3pm sharp!
Where: PlayPad Gaming Hub, G-square arcade, Barangka Dr. Corner Boni Avenue, Mandaluyong City
Fee: 200php
Prizes: Cash for first and Second placers.
Format:
- 1v1 tournament. Played on PS4 consoles.
- Double elimination, randomized brackets
- FTt2 matches (FT3 possible), loser of first match can go to character select or change order, winner of the first match can only change order if loser decides to change characters or order.
- No coaching from other people
- If possible, bring your own arcade sticks or pads, but if you dont have one, we havr sticks and pads available at the venue.
- Nakoruro is still being discussed to be banned or not, tournament organizers will decide it soon and thats final.
- Casuals after the tournament.
- Winners finals, losers finals and grand finals are FT3 matches.
