ASUS Republic of Gamers Announces ROG Masters 2017 Happening This June Focusing on Dota 2 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

ASUS has announced the launch of it’s eSports league, ROG Masters 2017 for the month of June. Players of Dota 2 and CS:GO will have a chance to take home a piece of the prize pool pie of 500k USD (250K for each game).

This year’s ROG Masters will take place in around 30 countries with four regional qualifiers which are namely, EMEA, Americas, APAC, and China. The Philippines, who is part of the APAC region will have it’s own set of qualifiers for both titles. Local teams will be able to try their hand in competing in the regional and if the opportunity arises, the global stage.

Our Philippine representatives will play against 12 other countries for the APAC representation. So expect matches against teams from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Japan, Australia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore.

Currently, there are no qualifier details as of the moment but you can check out the site from time to time to see if ASUS has already updated the process. I’ll be keeping an eye out on further updates for this tournament.
